The median price per square foot rose with it, to $347 from $316 in August, against $342 a year earlier. Median square footage among the sales was 1,593, up from 1,363 in August, so the month leaned toward larger houses than the one before it.
Twenty-seven houses closed, compared with 31 in August and 25 in September 2025, and 18 of the 27 went at or above asking. The median sale came in at exactly the asking price, down from 102 percent of list in August. Houses took 30 days to sell at the median, against 21 in August and 22 a year earlier. Thirty-nine new listings came on.
The spread explains the median better than the median does. Ten sales landed between $600,000 and $699,999, up from eight a year earlier, and one closed between $800,000 and $899,999 where there had been none. Nothing at all sold between $300,000 and $399,999, a range that held two sales in September 2025, while four closed under $300,000 in each year.
